About Terracotta
Terracotta vessels and their eco-friendly nature strike a perfect balance between the traditional and the modern, the rough and the refined, while also contributing to environmental sustainability.
I source most of these earthy vessels from a pottery town in El Salvador, where a group of young artisans is passionate about continuing the tradition of crafting clay. I create the designs, and they shape my vision into reality.
The beauty of terracotta is meant to be treasured long after the wax is gone. Give your vessel a second life as a thriving succulent planter, desktop organizer, or delicate catchall for small daily treasures.
About Angeles
"Candelas" is the Spanish word for candles, and "Angeles" is my middle name. That's why CANDELAS by Angeles.
I've always been sensitive to scents, and my daughter inherited that from me—so when she suggested we make our own candles at home, I instantly fell in love with the idea.
In search of something different, I was reminded of a small pottery town in El Salvador. I sourced my favorite shapes from there and added a final, personal touch—hand-painting each terracotta vessel. That’s how my collections came to life.
Today, testing new fragrances, painting each vessel, and pouring every candle with premium ingredients has become a labor of love—bringing a unique, heartfelt piece of art into every space.
